Mission

The purpose of Lebanon Baptist Church is to glorify God by equipping believers to become mature followers of Christ resulting in the expression of their love for God through worship and of their love for man through proclaiming Jesus as savior to the world.

Vision

As those who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, we want to bring him glory. The main way we do that is through our life together as a church, as this gospel community demonstrates the love of Jesus through our love for each other (John 13:35). We gather together to sing his praises, offer our prayers, hear his Word, and care for one another. And we serve side by side to see Jesus worshiped as the true King both here in Frisco, TX and to the ends of the earth.

Our History
Lebanon Baptist Church was established in September of 1879 in the town of Lebanon, TX. The town of Lebanon was located on Preston Rd./Hwy 289 about a mile north of the intersection at Hwy 121 and Preston Rd. Lebanon consisted of several farm families, a school, and a few other buildings and was a thriving small town until the railroad come through and the City of Frisco was established. Many businesses decided to relocate to Main St. in Frisco in order to be near the train depot but the Lebanon school remained and Lebanon Baptist Church continued to serve the various families in the surrounding area. Over time Frisco continued to grow and expand and the town of Lebanon was annexed into the City of Frisco.
